Granite is known for its durability, scratch resistance, and for being low-maintenance. It is a porous material, meaning stains and water can seep into the stone, therefore it has to be sealed periodically to avoid this.

QUARTZ

Quartz is a man-made stone that is know for being water-resistant, durability, and heat resistance. This stone can go through a lot of wear and tear without losing its eye-catching appearance.

QUARTZITE

This stone is known for its heat resistance, scratch resistance, durability, and natural beauty. Like all natural stones, they need to be sealed to combat their porous capabilities.

MARBLE

Marble is known for its beauty and heat resistance. Marble is a stone that has a mind of its own, therefore it is not recommended in kitchens. Even if sealed properly, it is still capable of staining and scratches.

SINTERED STONE

This cutting edge engineered material is durable, non-porous, resistant to heat, scratching, and staining. It's equally resistant to cold as it is to heat, therefore is a great material for outdoor kitchens and fireplaces.

Porcelain is heat resistant, non-porous, and fairly durable. It is a low-maintenance material but is prone to scratches and cracks.

Our Process

Showroom Visit

Our process begins with a visit to our sister company "StoneCorpUSA" showroom and stone yard (same location) where we have hundreds of materials to choose from. Once you decide on a material you like, whether it is in stock in our yard or a sample in our showroom, we can begin the stone process. This is also the time to be thinking about sinks and the edge of the countertop that you would like!

Rough Price

We ask that you bring rough measurements of your project layout so once you have your eyes set on a material that you like, we can give you a rough estimate based on your needs.

Template

The next step is to schedule you for a template where will accurately measure your project. Wooden strips are assembled on your countertop, vanity, desktop, etc. to show proper overhangs, centerlines of sinks, and unevenness of any walls that the stone may sit against.

Final Quote

Once we have the accurate measurements of your project, we can finally give you an accurate quote. Once it is approved, we will move on to the stone fabrication process.

Fabrication

Before we start fabricating, we ask for a deposit and once that is given, we start cutting, polishing, and gluing the material (if necessary) to get ready for installation.

Installation

Once the material is cut into the precise shape, we are ready to install. Our stone fabrication turnaround is about 4-6 business days but it depends on factors like material selection, deposits, and inventory stock.
